First Launch
During the first launch of the application, you will be asked to share your location.
It is important that you allow sharing your location at this point, because this location will be used to fetch the weather forecast.
This is necessary only during the first launch, and can be disabled later.
Location
If your watch is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, then the GPS module on your phone will be used. This is the most common setup.
If your watch is in standalone mode (not connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth), then the GPS module on your watch will be used.
If your location cannot be fetched timely and the app shows an error message, then please continue reading.
Smartphone GPS
On your smartphone the following services must be enabled in order for GPS to work:
• Location
• Google Location Accuracy
• Location permission for Galaxy Watch Plugin
You can find these on your Android smartphone under Settings > Location.
These services will be most likely turned on by default.
On your smartphone open Google Maps and wait until you are located on the map.
Your smartphone needs direct visibility to GPS satellites in the sky. If you are indoors, make sure to stand next to a window and point your smartphone towards the sky.
It may take some time for the location information to be transferred from your smartphone to your watch. Make sure your watch does not go into stand-by mode (screen off) during this time. You can extend screen timeout in Settings > Display > Screen Timeout > 5 Minutes.
Watch GPS
On your watch the location service must be enabled in order for GPS to work.
You can find it in Settings > Location.
Make sure the toggle button is set to ON and GPS and wireless is selected for faster discovery.
Your watch needs direct visibility to GPS satellites in the sky. If you are indoors, make sure to stand next to a window and point the phone towards the sky.
It may take some time for your location to be discovered. Make sure your watch does not go into stand-by mode (screen off) during this time. You can extend screen timeout in Settings > Display > Screen Timeout > 5 Minutes.
Note: If your watch is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the GPS on your watch will not be used, even if it is enabled. It will be used only then , if you lose the Bluetooth connection to your smartphone.
Forecasts
Weather forecast values are represented with colorful gradients for easier readability.
You can choose between different units in settings menu.
Cloudiness and Precipitation share the same ring in 24 hour and 3 day forecast screens.
Color gradients are defined with following min and max values:
24 Hour Forecast
This view shows you the forecast for the next 24 hours.
You can see the Temperature, Cloudiness & Precipitation, and Wind Speed.
Time
These numbers represent hours. Think of a normal analog clock, but instead of 12 hours, you see 24 hours.
You can choose between 24 hours and AM/PM in settings menu.
Current Time
The current time is represented by the "hour hand", just like on a 12 hour analog clock.
It is 10:00 (10 AM) now.
Current Temperature
The current temperature value is visible in the center.
It is 10:00 (10 AM) now and the temperature is 5°.
Temperature
This is the temperature forecast for the next 24 hours.

Today on Thursday, you can see hours 12, 16 (4 PM) and 20 (8 PM).
Tomorrow on Friday you can see 4 (AM), 8 (AM), 12 (PM), 16 (4 PM) and 20 (8 PM) and so on.
You can choose between 24 hours and AM/PM in settings menu.
